Thank A Volunteer Day Grants now available to recognise Geraldton volunteers

• Thank a Volunteer Day Grants Program now open for applications
• Grants of up to $1,000 available to support activities that celebrate volunteers
• Community organisations and local governments are invited to apply


Community organisations and local government authorities in Geraldton are invited to apply for Thank a Volunteer Day Grants to celebrate the contribution of volunteers within the community, and highlight International Volunteer Day.


The Cook Labor Government has committed $70,000 to the Thank a Volunteer Day Grant Program, with grants of up to $1000 available to support events or activities to mark International Volunteer Day on December 5.


Thank a Volunteer Day Grants can be used to host events and activities between Saturday 2 December to Friday 8 December 2023 in regional and metropolitan areas. Applications close on Thursday, 6 July 2023.
