Comments attributed to Lara Dalton MLA:

“I’m thrilled that our Geraldton community will benefit from the upgrades at Recreation Ground.

"These upgrades to the floodlighting will allow for more people to enjoy the facilities and keep up a healthy lifestyle.”

Comments attributed to Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman:

“This is a major win for our sporting and recreation communities and I am very proud the Cook Government is supporting facilities’ infrastructure and the lighting up of clubs at night.

“These initiatives ensure continuing use of facilities that would otherwise age and fall into disrepair. While the ongoing improvements to changerooms improve accessibility and improve participation rates among women and people who live with disability.”
